Getting there

Leaving before the sun rose on Sunday August 27 My entire family (yes entire minus liv) dragged me and my GIANT suitcase to BWI for a 26 hour flying time, plus layovers trip to Denpasar, Bali.

I flew from Baltimore, MD to Atlanta, GA where I ran into Lily Colley, who was on her way to Germany! What are the chances? Just two Guilford laxers heading off to the unknown.

I flew Korean Air. They were very nice, they gave me toothbrush, toothpaste, pillow, blanket, personal TV, headphones, slippers, and fed me every 3 hours!

After 2 movies, reading a whole book, writing an essay, sleeping, eating, drawing, Doing laps around the plane, and talking to the cute Philippine woman next to me i still had 10 hours left to Seoul Korea.

I did however, get moved to first class for the last hour because I had a short connection to catch to Bali. Best experience of my life. Soooo much space! After 13 hours I was ecstatic to be in first class but also on the edge of delirium.

I arrived safely in Denpasar where I was picked up by the program director, BuAri. She drove me to her house where I promptly proceeded to get a nose bleed. Great first impression. I know.
